Precious Metals, the first album from Radius & Helena, was released at historic Massey Hall on October 3rd 2008. Recorded by Ian Sattler and mastered by Jon Drew, this psychedelic journey has been rocking audiences around Ontario since its release. Precious Metals has earned a place on college radio, with rotation on CIUT, CFBU, and CHUO, among others. The band spent most of 2009 promoting the record by playing gigs in southern Ontario and in the festival circuit. Since then, they’ve garnered showcases at CMW, NXNE, Toronto’s Pitter Patter Music Festival and Wavelength series. They also performed innovative, interactive shows at the Reel Asian Film Festival, Trinity Square Video’s ‘Villains’ exhibition, and the Naked Frames Animation and Music Video Series at the Revue cinema, incorporating stunning living projections.
